I am a painter, specializing in bold oil paintings of beautiful women and their gorgeous shoes.

My tumblr is a mix of my artwork, sketches and ideas, alongside pieces of the internet that I want to remember and collect.

I live in Brighton, and have a studio in the Brighton Seafront Artist Quarter.

Visitors to both my blog, and my sunny seaside studio, are always welcome.

mabelmoments: Gil Elvgren, 1955 Elvgren is my all time favorite pin-up artist. He, and La Contessa’s favorite Vargas really had their act together. The thing that amazes me every single time I look at the work of both of them, is how they get the stockings to look like that. So velvety and delicate. I think it is amazing. Really and truely brilliant.
