My tumblr is a mix of my artwork, sketches and ideas, alongside pieces of the internet that I want to remember and collect.

I live in Brighton, and have a studio in the Brighton Seafront Artist Quarter.

Clive Sinclair (inventor of the Sinclair C5) is talking on raio4 about Thomas Edison, and inventing. The interviewer just asked him if he ever gets upset that after all his tremendously successful inventions, he is best known for a failure. His response: “We sold something like 15,000 of them- more than any other electric car. So no- I don’t give it a moment’s thought”  (via The Sinclair C5 -Virgin Media)

Feels like there should be a “Fictional inventors” section to this list, but I can’t think of any…

I always have thought that Benjamin franklin got pretty lucky- although I guess he didn’t actually invent lightening bolts.

Or kites.

Or, keys.

So. Yeah.
