I buy the Guardian every Saturday.
I’ve always kind of shyed away from mentioning this, partly because I know Mr Briss would not approve its not cool.
But, today, there were a bunch of things that I thought about posting because they were interesting.
One was a double whammy- it was a review of an exhibition of women surrealists in Manchester.
I thought Crowth would like it, because it’s about surrealism. And feminism. And, I thought The Gauntlet would like it, because it’s about feminism. And surrealism.
And, they rounded off the review in a really clever way. That I’ve forgotten now. But it was clever.
But, they don’t have the same review on line.
It’s there- but it’s different. And nowhere near as interesting.
So, I’ll leave you with Nell Frizzell’s quote about why she reads the guardian:
“As a wise man once said, you can’t make papier-mache out of internet coding.”
