Oh… well, you could go pick sand dollars off the beach- take photographs of them for me… and of the grandaddy beards…. and see if the Grayson Baseball Stadium is still standing… drink long drinks with plenty of ice… look out over the Atlantic and marvel at how big that sea looks.

Don’t forget that today is the day of the 100 Artists for World Aids Day exhibition.
It starts at 4pm at Concorde2 on Madiera Drive, Brighton…. and apart from the opportunity to see the work of 99 Artists and Moi, there will also be lots of fun entertainers and drinks and culture.
Be there, or, be somewhere else.
I went out to dinner last night, and the guy running the restaurant (who was incredibly charming) played me an album he thought I’d like.

Elvgren is my all time favorite pin-up artist.
He, and La Contessa’s favorite Vargas really had their act together.
The thing that amazes me every single time I look at the work of both of them, is how they get the stockings to look like that. So velvety and delicate. I think it is amazing.

I think I probably already shown you guys this painting in its finished state.
But, all the paintings I am doing at the moment will ultimately wind up under someone’s Christmas tree… so you can’t see them.
As you can see… I am not as pretty as the woman in that photograph.
Especially when I stare at myself.

I had a strange evening lst night, followed by some pretty weird dreams.
In one of the dreams someone I haven’t seen in too long gave me a hug.
We used to listen to a remixed Atomic very very loudly and jig about the studio waving our hands in the air like we just didn’t care.
