There used to be a theatre on the Palace Pier, which was a listed building… when the current owners were renovating the pier several years ago, they removed it “to keep it from getting damaged”. When it came time to re-instate this gorgeous (and LISTED!) building, they explained that they’d forgotten where they’d put it, and it was now lost. ffs
