June 2009
As I mentioned, I’m off to London to have tea with my cousin the Queen.
I shall be sending live updates via my telephone… so get excited right now.
And, look out for upside down, unfocused, bland photographs of big ben pigeons.
Supertramp - Give A Little Bit
Things that go good together:
Wet, windy Sunday afternoons and Supertramp.Hot, sunny, Sunday mornings and Supertramp.
I have finished the portrait.
The flower lives.
Ah ha.
My secret fear about the portrait is that the flower is in the wrong place, and that is what is throwing the painting off.
it wouldn’t be the first time something as simple as that meant I worked on a painting for days and futile days before I realised.
Thing is, I really like the flower bit.
(thanks for letting me share that with you all).
Souveniring, by dodgy means, LindaBoucher’s pink feather duster.
All you’d have to do is turn up.
Every time I close my eyes I can see her nose.
Which is quite a lot of nose fixation when you think about the fact that that includes blinking.
