It's stinking bloody hot today.

38C (100F). Actually, I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s hit 40.
Tomorrow (New Year’s Eve) will be at least 39C, and New Year’s Day will be 37 or 38C.
Guess who isn’t leaving the house for the next three days.
Looking forward to a nice swim soon, though…

man cuts off own arm
This incident happened up the road from me, so I keep seeing updates in the local press about it…
The really amazing thing (apart from the tip that it is always wise to have some frozen sausage rolls hanging around) is that his arm has been reattached, and he was just on my tv moving his thumb.
I’ve told him to get down off it now, and to stop showing off.
